Access to Justice

CFAP Legal Clinic is committed to providing quality, affordable (or free) legal services to low- and moderate-income persons who have no access to our legal system.  The  Legal Clinic is committed to making sure that everyone has access to justice.  Our Legal Clinic is open two times per month. Each 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month a member of our legal staff or a volunteer attorney will provide free 30 minute consultation to persons seeking legal advice.  Unless you sign a retainer and hire the lawyer who is providing you the free consultation, the lawyer who provides the consult is just giving you advice and is not your attorney.

If you sign a retainer agreement the retainer agreement establishes an amount of money typically based on the reduced hourly rate of $100 per hour and the number of hours of estimated work.  We are also able to establish a fixed flat fee for agreed-upon services; or provide a "limited scope representation" in which we provide legal services for one or more aspects of your overall matter.  In every instance, a signed retainer will be required in order to establish a formal attorney-client relationship.

Our main goal is to provide members of the community access to justice with quality and zealous representation.
