The LaNayja Turner All-Star Society

An organization dedicated to encouraging, supporting, motivating and nurturing children and youth. An organization dedicated to confronting bullying, depressing, anxiety and preventing suicide.   An organization where everyone is an all-star.

"Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3-4

The mission of The LaNayja Turner All-Star Society is to provide the opportunity, the training, relationship, fellowship and support to all who seek to live extra-ordinary life. Established March, 2017 the organization is a community of people who desire to provide support, encouragement, training and opportunity for success for the children and youth in the City of Akron and the Greater Summit County through the power of relationship, fellowship and encouragement with the goal of training and developing young leaders and helping them to realize and live out their God-given purpose.  

As an organization, we recognize that the change that is needed in Akron and the Greater Summit County area is within the people.  We realize that the future of our children and youth depend on caring adults providing healthy relationships, support, resources and opportunity.  We long for something different and more meaningful. Therefore, we declare war on sameness, lack, division, poverty, depression and defeat.  We will challenge and equip our children and youth to discover and to live out their purpose.

We will use all available measures to engage and inspire people to discover and to live out their purpose. The LaNayja Turner All-Star Society seeks to teach positive and encouraging messages and to train and equip its members to become positive and productive members in our community and the world.  We will (1) encourage and promote self-worth, (2) create friendship circles that will help us to be our brothers and sister's keepers, (3) provide resources to help promote personal and professional growth, (4) provide for the those in need, and (5) promote education and the arts (6) work to reduce and eliminate bullying in every form.
